Two space shooters

April 28, 2019 by Jim 1 Comment

The first two games I am uploading to this site are in the venerable category of “space shooter.” I created them seven years apart. They are both HTML 5 games, meaning that they will run in your web browser — at least if you have a modern version of Chrome or Firefox.

Deep Space Patrol (2012) was created with Construct 2, and is intended for desktop or laptop web browsers. It requires a mouse and/or keyboard to play, and the form factor is too squarish for a tablet or phone screen. I’ll probably rework this one to work on mobile devices. It has lots of action and good mechanics.

Voorom (2019) was created with Construct 3, and is mobile friendly. It uses touch controls, as well as mouse or keyboard. Its view-port fits nicely on a smart phone screen.
